What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is an exfoliating treatment in which your skincare professional gently removes the outermost layers of your skin with a surgical blade – clearing away dead skin cells and unwanted vellus hairs. The result is renewed skin that appears smoother, brighter, and more youthful.

What Our Clients Are Saying

I started going to Lisa to get a monthly dermaplane and facial a few month before my wedding. The whole experience is so relaxing and Lisa’s always willing to answer any questions you have about how to keep your skin looking great in between appointments. My skin looked amazing for my wedding and I can’t wait to keep coming back!

Lisa was wonderful. My appointment was for a clarifying facial, dermaplane and eye treatment. This was my first dermaplane and I was not disappointed. I immediately saw a difference and will certainly continue. Lisa was very informative and I enjoyed the entire experience.

Went to see Lisa for the first time for a facial, dermaplane & eyebrow wax and had an amazing experience! I have had dermaplane done once before but I felt like Lisa did a WAY better job with the technique she used and my face felt so much clearer after my dermaplane and the facial with her. If you have never done dermaplane before, I highly recommend adding it! It will really help to improve your skin. It was a great experience and I will continue seeing her.

What are the Benefits of Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is an excellent treatment for many clients, because it is suitable for virtually any skin type and can help improve several skin different concerns::

  • Improve acne scarring
  • Brighten dull skin
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines
  • Exfoliate and remove dry and dead skin
  • Lighten dark spots and sun-damaged skin

Additionally, dermaplaning does an excellent job to help the skin absorb any nourishing moisture or vitamins that you apply to the surface post-treatment. That is why we highly recommend adding a facial to your dermaplane treatment – the combination of these two services works wonders on your skin!

Finally, dermaplaning does not rely on the use any potentially reactive ingredients or chemicals, so there is very little risk of any sort of reaction occurring as a result of your treatment. In fact, there is typically very little downtime so it is a service that you could even schedule during your lunch break, and come back to the office without worry of much redness.
